The Sultanate, in coordination with the World Meteorological Organization, hosted the seventh coordination meeting hosting the World Weather Information Services website during the period from 5 to 7 November 2019. This meeting focused on the World Weather Information Services website for its official and reliable weather information. Oman Meteorology has been selected to host the Arabic version of this meeting by the organization in the belief of the great role it plays in this area and the confidence in the efficiency and professionalism of its employees, where the Arabic version of the site sees nearly four million people, and more than one hundred Million for all copies. During the meeting, they exchanged experiences between the members and presented the latest developments and programs in the field of developing and upgrading the global weather information system. The Oman meteorology presented its experience in programming and developing the Arabic version of this site in addition to hosting and managing the system for the Arabic version of this project.
