• Issuance of initial two-year certificate for an Air Navigation Training Center in accordance with CAR 170 requirements (three year available on request)

4. Requirements & Regulations

• Initial application should be made at least 120 days before the beginning of any proposed training
• ICAO Annex 1
• ICAO Annex 11
• CAR 170

5. Service required documents    

• Letter of Request from the service provider's Chief Executive to DGCAR
• Form ANS 170-0
• Applicant’s exposition
• Quality Management System (QMS) manual
• Training Manual
• Other documents as may be requested by DGCAR

6. Service fees

• Application 350 OMR
• Issuance 1500 OMR 2 year (3 year on request)
• Additional courses after initial issuance 100 OMR

7. Workflow (Internally & Externally)

• Application payment
• Submit a complete application with all required documents to ANSD
• Perform on site certification audit if required
• Compliance notification
• Issuance of certificate payment
• Issuance of certificate

8. Time Consumed

• 30 days.
