Approval for operation in RVSM Airspace  

1. Service name and description

• Approval for operation in RVSM Airspace  
• Issuing or renewal in bi yearly basis of  RVSM approval
• For each operator /owner having registered aircraft in Oman must carry on board the  aircraft the Operations specifications for each Aircraft Model   which is include the RVSM approval.
• This certificate indicates that the operator is approved to operate into RVSM Airspace

5. Documents Required

• Letter from the AOC holder./Owner
• DGCAR forms AWR038-01
• Payment of CAA invoice fee
• Note : Any additional documents can be requested by the Flight Safety Department

6. Workflow

• Submit a completed application with all documents required by the Air Safety Department
•  Verification of the technical data provided.
•  Delivery of  RVSM approval when all technical and legal conditions are satisfactory.
•  Updating the follow-up of Aircraft airworthiness data base
•  Storage of documents and technical data.

7. Fees & Payment Mechanism

• 300 RO bi annually for each RVSM approval.

8. Time Consumed

• 3  Months  from reception of the application.
